With the end of Sellabration came the need to find a fundraiser that would replace it. Sellabration has always been a HUGE event for us, bringing in upwards of $5,000.00 or more. To replace it, we needed something that everyone would want to participate in. We get A LOT of fundraising information throughout the year and when SaveAround approached us and we saw the great savings it offered our parents and teachers, we decided to give it a shot! We will be selling SaveAround coupon books as our fundraiser this year in Lieu of Sellabration. SaveAround retails for $25 a book but as a THANK YOU for all of your support this year we will be selling the Columbus coupon book for just $20!
We have been open about our surplus that has been created over the years. This year alone, we will have donated over $20,000 before January 1, 2017 in an attempt to actively deploy some of our accumulated savings. We have done this by spending all dollars that come in and systematically moving our savings over to our operating budget. We want to continue on this trend of giving, but we can’t do that without your support in our fundraising efforts. We have received many large dollar teacher requests and we would like to fulfill them all. You can help us by: Making an annual $25 PTO donation; Purchasing from our supply sale; Buying Spirit wear; Purchasing a Tervis Cup; Attending one of our Restaurant nights; Buying a coupon book; Purchasing your summer reading books through the PTO; or getting Dave and Busters GC at our sale and attending the Dave and Busters event in February. All of these opportunities to support us allows the PTO to fulfill our teacher’s grant requests, put on fun events for the kids and make the school an environment that is warm and welcoming.
